Committee the following papers on the subject of the Report

of the Hong Kong University (1937) Committee:- the Report,

a despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong; a Memorandum by

the Far Eastern Department, Colonial Office, and a despatch

to the Governor.

It has not been considered desirable to communicate

the enclosures to the despatch from the Governor in view of

the summary of the position given in the Memorandum.
